<p>He’s asking about transfer housing, not housing for freshmen. According to the housing office, transfer students won’t find out until the end of July.</p>

<p>I’m absolutely furious with this housing decision. As a junior, this is no way in hell I will be living in a freshman dorm and sharing a bathroom with the floor. Completely unacceptable if i’m going to paying 7 grand a year.</p>

<p>Well transfer housing isn’t even guaranteed, so you’re lucky to have gotten housing at all. Yeah it’s not great, but obviously the school is going to place students who already go here first. If you refuse to live there, then get an apartment off campus like most other juniors. Else you can either fight for a housing switch about a month into the semester, or just stick it out.</p>

<p>If i would have known that being put in Freshman housing was an option I would have opted for something different. I’m appealing to the housing department now. We’ll see what happens.</p>

<p>I’ve already started the search for off-campus housing.</p>

<p>Theres no way I’m sharing a bathroom with a floor again. I’ve been a freshman, i’m not doing it again.</p>

<p>Plus, i know this sounds bad…but my assigned roommate doesn’t even speak english :(</p>

<p>Real random, if you’re looking for off campus housing I have a place 6 bedroom 2 bath on MASS AVE. (across from christian science center). It’s a 6 person place one of my friends is staying at AUB in Beirut and needs someone to sublet his room for the semester. $1020 a month with wash and dryer, huge living room and kitchen. If youre interested let me know.</p>
