So I am currently attending a college that I really don't like.

I have given it like six weeks and I still don't like it.

If I really feel this way should I transfer in January or wait until next fall to see if I like it more?

It depends on the reasons you don't like your present college.

What don't you like about your present school? Do you have a transfer school in mind? What is different about the transfer school than your current school?

Like I don't like the floor I live on. The environment (rich stuck up people). My roommate and I don't get along. (they won't let me change rooms). I know that really seems like nothing. The school is really expensive too.

I kind of have a school is mind. It is 1/3 the price of the one I am currently attending and it has equal the education apparently..

Have you discussed this with your parents? Are they OK with the idea of you transferring in January? Have you contacted the college that you're interest in attending and asked the admissions office about transferring in January? Were you previously accepted to the other college?

I definitely think you should talk with your parents. Transferring can be a very positive experience if the reasons for transferring are sound. My S transferred after completing his freshman year. He hated his first college and loves his current college.
