Not looking so good... I know.

Honors college at this school

First Semester:

Honors History- B

Second Semester:

Honors History- B
Nursing- A-
Human Anatomy- A

Overall GPA 3.62 at end of year.

This upcoming semester I am taking writing, human physiology, trig, and gen chem. I plan on working very hard to achieve a 4.0.
Also received a rec letter from my stats teacher, and am taking CNA training classes end of summer. Essays will be above average.

Once again, thanks so much for anyone who could input on my situation!

Probably pretty decent. I graduated high school with a 2.8, no extracurriculars, and a 23 on the ACT. I went to community college two years and applied to UM with a 3.5, in the school paper, rotaract, and student activities board, 50 hours with the humane society, and a 29 on the ACT (which I am told they don’t actually look at but I had extenuating circumstances that lead me to retake it.) I was accepted in two weeks.

No, I went to Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan. I am leaving there with a 3.7 overall. I actually brought my gpa at Scraft up from a 2.7 to a 3.5 within two semesters in order to apply. Kind of a harrowing year! I just went to the community college transfer orientation program a couple weeks ago and probably half the people there were from WCC. I understand they have some sort of a program or club to aid in moving on to Michigan.

I read on their website that the average admitted transfer student has a 3.6.

Just wanted to update on the status of my application. I was accepted as a transfer student for the winter 2010 semester. Thank you so much for your replies!
