Transfer in ... THEN change major?!?

A quick question, everyone.

I am applying to a college where my major (English) is the most impacted.
I am, however, very interested in Latin (not popular) and will probably declare it as a minor, anyway.

SO...would it be best to apply for English and PRAY that I get accepted.....
or
apply for Latin, and then change upon entering?

I will enter as a Soph/Junior w/ 56-60 credits (depends on what they take).

ADVICE!?!

…if I was accepted, I would change to English after. Just clarifying…

What school are you applying to? Some schools are very explicit that you cannot change your major or school once you have been accepted.

A few… Boston University, USC, Loyola Marymount, Tulane…
No publics…or the ones that I am applying to, I do plan on using my actual major on the form.

I am transferring to UGA and was accepted a few days ago. On my app it’s pretty clear I will be changing majors. Don’t sweat it.
