Are there any schools that accept transfer students into a combined degree program (BA/MD)? I am a freshman at the University of Toronto and am seeking a place to transfer for sophomore year. I am currently taking a concentration of science related courses, so I don't think that I'll be behind in curriculum.

Admissions to BA/MD occur in the senior year of HS. None of the direct medical programs allow transfers.

BU used to have an MMEDIC program which allowed their Bachelors degree bound students to apply and get provisional med school acceptance in their junior year. Not sure if any other schools offer a similar program. You do have to be a BU student to avail this program

There are MedStar(t) programs designed specifically for College Sophomores. Check into them. Some of them might not need MCAT, however, I do not know details. I know that D’s friend (sophomore) had an interview for one of them in a summer. It might be too late for you, but it is worthwhile to check into them.
