Transfer into Honors Program after admissions offer?

Hey everyone,

I got my admissions offer in the mail this morning along with a nice merit scholarship and entrance to the Somers Leadership Program.

I've been thinking things through and I'm actually regretting not having applied to the Honors Program.

Is there a way I can transfer or apply to the Honors Program if I enroll at GW?

THanks for your help!

I am just curious to know, what is the point of the honors program? I didnt apply for it either cos I didnt really know what it was but if it is ever possible to apply for it once accepted, should I do it?

You take honors sequences, get better housing picks, and you generally have smaller classes.

Sorry, you can’t transfer into the Honors Program. It’s really not a big deal though. If you want, you can apply to take particular honors courses that you may be interested in, but in all honesty I don’t think not being in honors has any impact on your GW experience. Employers/grad schools won’t care either.
