Transfer into Villanova

Hey everyone, I'm currently a freshman at Boston University, however I'm looking to transfer elsewhere for the fall semester of 2010. Being in the business school here, I was wondering what the likelihood is for a candidate like myself to successfully transfer into Villanova's b-school. I'm looking to obtain the highest grades possible this year and to participate/volunteer around campus, but I'm not sure if my hs stats could weigh me down.

My high school stats aren't great (SAT-1930, ACT-28, GPA-88 (UW) 91(W)), so I was therefore wondering if it's feasible for me to transfer into the business school (if not the college of arts & sciences). Any insight would be great! Thanks.

You should call Villanova and ask.

I figured I should bring back my original post. After my first semester, I have a 3.84 – and since I have my heart set on Villanova, I don’t know if applying to VSB with my stats would hurt me. Being a business student, it’s hard for me to apply as an econ major in Arts & sciences. I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight as to my situation. Thanks!

PA2009!!! I remember you from all of last year’s BU threads!! My son is also a freshman at BU and was so excited last year when he got in ED. Unfortunately, he’s not loving life there and is also looking to transfer – I guess he wants more of a campus-like environment. Just curious, what aren’t you enjoying about life on Comm. Ave. (size, setting, classes)?
