Transfer looking to go south, southwest

I attendt RIT in Rochester NY and I am looking into transferring after this year. I would like to go somewhere that is warm, and exciting.

I am majoring in industrial engineering. I have bad SATs but a great GPA. Anyone have any suggestions?

Maybe Clemson University? South Carolina is very warm. Clemson has a strong engineering department. I don't know how hard it is to transfer into.

People who go to Clemson love it. Sports are big.

Also NC State and Texas A&M.

Georgia Tech and Texas A&M sound like solid options for industrial engineering

I'd also add Rice and UT, but I'm not sure if either of them have industrial engineering as a major

The University of Florida is renowned for their engineering department. The weather's great, and the school's a blast. There's great sports, parties, lots of activity, and the academics are great. Also, the University of Maryland has an excellent engineering program and the weather's pretty nice. It's slightly more prestigious than UF and still has a fun and exciting atmosphere.

Auburn University. Clemson University.

Arizona State has a very good engineering program, it's warm, and fun.

A few other suggestions: University of Miami, Univ. of Arizona, University of Alabama, University of San Diego, San Diego State (mechanical, not industrial)

would def reccommend UMiami, great school, great rep and so far great experiences...

furthermore if u wanna go to school in Florida, I would suggest UF over UM for engineering. UF has an amzing engineering school and plus cheaper than UM. Both are great choices though and should do well at either one ;)

Santa Clara

College Station (Texas A&M) is definitely not an exciting town.
