Hello, I want to transfer from UCI to UCD in fall of 09.
The UCD site stated that
"Highest priority for admission is given to junior-level California community college transfer applicants with 60 semester (90 quarter) units. Priority is next given to junior-level transfer students from other UC campuses and other four-year institutions in and out of California. Finally, if space is available, lower division transfers with superior grades are admitted, but only into the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences."
I was wondering if I transfered in, can i just change my major since it seem that they are forcing people into College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences. Right now my gpa isnt' that stable because i'm currently majoring in Biomedical engineering: premed and the calc/phys/chem courses are really taking a lot out of me. What gpa should get me into Davis? Should i complete my GEs in Irvine first to boost gpa and use the UC to UC GEs transfer program so i don't have to do Davis' GE? I might reconsider in changing major into Bio Sci because i'm going towards medical field and biomedical engineering is really taking a lot out of me just for medical field while engineering
Thanks
