<p>Anyone here that is a Math/Computer Science major? I am planning on transferring to UIllinois as that intended major and would like to hear some accepted students stats. Also, can you tell me a little bit about the major in terms of courses and how different it is to the computer science major in part of the college of engineering?</p>

<p>Bump, Anyone else that is a transfer who is a CS/Math major? I need some reassurance.</p>
<p>CS in engineering is a lot more rigorous in terms of CS than LAS counterpart.</p>
<p>CS/Engineering also follows the college of engineering curriculum, which requires 3 semesters of physics, and 1 semester of chemistry.</p>
<p>Lastly, it is also A LOT more flexible in terms of coursework than Math/CS.</p>
<p>Can one be directly admitted into the engineering school at UIUC, though? Is computer science/engineering a limited enrollment program?</p>
