I am currently attending SMC (Santa Monica College) and I’m having a problem with the math requirements.
My #1 choice for a transfer would be USC Marshall School of Business. Looking at the Articulation between SMC and USC it says that I must take either Calculus or Applied Business Calculus. I am enrolled in Business Calc, satisfying USC’s requirement, however, I also plan on applying to other UC’s and CSU’s in case I don’t get into USC. The main problem here is that most of these UC’s and CSU’s don’t take Biz Calc and they require regular calculus. I should’ve looked into this in the beginning but I just realized it.
I am a freshman student, fall 2017 being my 1st semester. What should I do? Will I have to take Calc 1 and 2 (regular) after I finish Business Calc? Any help?
