Hi. I'm currently a high school student, and I just got accepted to Dartmouth. When I applied in December, I thought I was going to become an economist/financier because I liked Math, but over the course of my high school senior year, I fell in love with Physics. My Physics teacher this year was amazing (last year, my Physics teacher never took the effort to teach us, so back then I didn't take interest in science).

So my question is, how soon can I switch to an Engineering major from Economics? Do I have to take Economics classes my freshman year before I can transfer or can I talk to someone right now (as a high school senior) to ask if I can switch immediately? Thanks for your help.
