Hello!
I’m new on this website, so I hope to get a response!
I am currently enrolled in a US college as a freshman, and wish to transfer to McGill’s Faculty of Science. I am currently pursuing a Neuroscience B.S., my CGPA is 3.90, and my STEM GPA is 3.80. I applied to 1) Anatomy and Cell Biology and 2) Chemistry programs because they told me they do not accept transfers in their neuro major. I’ll have options to take all neuro courses if I get in the Anatomy&CellBio one. My question is: does anyone think I have a shot? Has anyone ever transferred to McGill? Is it as great as I here it is?
Thank you VERY much!
I would directly ask the admissions regarding transfers? McGill is pretty straightforward on admissions. It seems. Minimum standards are set on Standardized tests/grades/gpa’s. …guess transfer admissions would be even more cut and dry…and obvious availability too in whatever college/major has “open spots”. You could have a similar problem …McGill would take you but not guaranty neuroscience?
I guess at your present college if someone dropped out of neuroscience …they wouldn’t let someone else (or you)take that spot.
