Transfer Midterm Report?

As an international student looking to transfer to USC (I've already completed two years of college here) - do I have to submit a Midterm Report?

The Common App has it listed under 'Additional Forms' - but I don't know if these forms are mandatory for my application or not. There's no mention of them on the USC transfer checklist.

Checklist link here: Transfer Planning - USC Undergraduate Admission

I'm asking because my program has me doing two years here, and two years in the States to earn my degree. I've already completed the first two, so that means that I've already stopped going to my current school. So I don't know what to put for my 'current courses'? Do I just fill in the courses I did in my final semester?

If you are not currently attending school, then you have no current courses. Leave it blank. Do not fill it in with courses you have already completed. The courses you did in your final semester should be on your transcript.

As for the midterm report, transfer applications are due February 1st, 2014, meaning that (if a student was attending) Fall semester grades would have been received and included in the application. That form is for freshman applicants.

Some transfer applicants will receive a Spring Grade Request (SGR) in June, 2014 asking that they report their Spring grades before an admission decision is made. If you have no courses in the Spring that will of course not apply to you.

So as a transfer student, I don’t have to submit the Midterm Report at all?

What about the Final Report? The Common App states that I have to print and give it to my high school - to accompany my high school transcript when my school mails it to USC? Do I have to submit this one?

Also, while I have you here, USC doesn’t require students to get a course-by-course evaluation to see which credits are transferable right?

No, you do not submit a midterm report. If you take classes in the Spring semester, you may receive an SGR in June.

As a transfer applicant, you will have an official transcript sent from your high school that shows your graduation date. That will suffice for a final report.

As discussed in your previous thread http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/1599323-how-submit-transcripts-international-students.html</a> , USC requires transfer applicants to submit official transcripts for all college level work attempted. USC will use those transcripts to determine which of your courses are transferable.
