Transfer of Credit

Hello, I am going to attend the University of Florida next year as a freshman. I did this in order to get all of my IB and AP credits transferred (save money when I go to a desired university), however they do not have my 2nd major; international business or economics. My first major is Russian by the way. Anyway, I'm trying to take courses that will show my depth as a student, but also that will transfer. Do you guys think that these courses would transfer:
Semester 1:
Russian I
German I
General Psychology
Introduction to Microeconomics (web)
Introduction to Philosophy

Semester II:
Russian II
German II
Introduction to Macroeconomics (web)
International Relations
no idea for 5th class

?
Thanks a lot for any responses

By the way, I have 3 main schools on my list of transfer
Georgetown SFS
Washington in St. Louis
William and Mary

A fellow UF student... I will be transferring out of UF for this coming fall, saved about 25k in that one year :).

Anyways, to answer your question, you should call the schools and ask them if they would accept credit for those courses, or what classes you should take to meet their requirements. They will give you more information than anyone on this site can provide. You should also look at your intended major at the schools and their four-year track; try to follow the first year as closely as possible and there should be no problem.

I hope I've been helpful. Good luck to you, and have a great time in G-Ville, it's an interesting place.

EDIT: By the way, the online micro/macro courses suck... I have no discipline for them. (Micro ruined my 4.0 :(; I saw two lectures the entire semester)

Thanks, I was planning on asking the individual schools anyway, but many of the people here seem to be knowledgable, so i thought I'd ask.

I can understand how the economics courses could suck, however, it seems if you do keep up with the lectures it'd be a lot easier than a normal class. Are the tests and assignments online as well? Open book?

The tests (no assignments) are not online, they are administered in lecture halls. They are multiple choice (Macro has 50 questions, Micro ~35) and make up all of your grade. The classes are easy, don't get me wrong, I did not watch a single lecture in Macro and I got an A... but in Micro I got a B :(. If you keep up with the lectures, you'll do fine.
