<p>hi i'm a senior in high shool and i didn't get into colleges (like NW and Colby) i wanted to go so i have to go to my safety school.
i want to know if i can apply to colleges as a freshman after spending one year at the college i'm going this year? or do i have to apply as a trasfer student?
p.s- i didn't take any AP classes because my school does not offer them

<p>nope, you must apply as a transfer.</p>
<p>if your school did not offer them then it's not your fault and it won't be held against you. most schools get a fact sheet from your HS which has every single course. the admissions people will see that you took the most rigorious course schedule (assuming you did) and take that into account.</p>
