Transfer or Stay at CSU?

As of now I have been attending CSU Pomona for 2 years, and I want to go to a better school like UCI, UCD, UCSC, UCSB and possibly csulb or sdsu.

I currently have 62 quarter units at the CSU which is about 41 semester units completed.
One of the other reasons I want to transfer is because i am unsatisfied with my GPA.
I have a 2.7 GPA at the CSU

I have 12 semester units completed at the CC with a 3.1 GPA.

Should i transfer my CSU courses/gpa to the CC... go to CC for 1 year, complete igetc, then transfer

Or

Should i just start off fresh with my 3.1 gpa 12 semester units at the CC... go to CC for 2 years, then transfer?

What kind of GPA/EC do i need to be able to get into those schools?

Is it worth doing any of this or should I stay at CSU pomona?

When i apply for other UC's or CSU's, do they see my CSU gpa or that i took courses at CSU?

Lastly, if i transfer my CSU courses to the CC.. will my CSU gpa transfer too?

Any advice or input would be helpful, thanks a lot!

they see everything. you need to meet the requirements of the actual school that you’re applying to.

with a low gpa, and being at a CSU, it’s going to be tough to get into a UC, as they favor CC transfers over CSU. You’re best bet would be SDSU or another CSU, but don’t let that deter you.

Seems like you’re in a tough situation, as a CC for 2 more years would put you close to grad school and that’s tough coming from a CC… good luck i guess

What if I don’t have any transferred courses from the CSU to the community college?
Can i just go to the CC for 2 years as a “CC Student” and apply for tag and all that stuff?

or are u trying to say that when i apply on the UC apps, i have to list that i went to CSU pomona and show them my transcript?

Yes. When you apply to another college, they require you to send transcripts from ALL previously attended institutions
