Transfer out of Stern...Chances please?

<p>Hey buddy, thanks for clicking on this thread! If you are not too busy at the moment, please chance me for transfer from NYU Stern to Columbia Fu and MIT. Your help will be deeply appreciated!! </p>

<p>Alright, let's get to our topic here: =)</p>

<p>Academics:
--NYU Stern: 4.0 GPA. dean's list
--High school: 4.0
-- ACT: 32 (Eng 34, Math 34, Read 31, Sci 27, Wri 8)
-- SAT II: Math II 800, Physics 800
-- AP: Physics C E&M: 5, Physics C Mechanics: 5.</p>

<p>EC's:
--gap year from freshman spring to sophomore spring. volunteered as a teacher in rural China for 4 months, interned at China Merchant's Bank, a local government office, and CITIC Securities (one of the largest securities in China) for two months each, and traveled to more than 30 cities in China.
--marketing group leader of NYU Chinese Student Association
--member of finance club
-- president and co-founder of high school school peer tutoring club. 60 members.
-- Track and Field (high school Varsity. ranked 8th locally)
-- Cross Country (high school Varsity. ranked 4th locally)</p>

<p>Awards:
-- some school service/academic awards
-- 10+ regional/national math contest awards (ex: Silver Standard in blahblah contest)
-- 2 provincial scholarships.
-- Cross Country Championship: 7th place (regional)
-- Track and Field Championship: 4th place in 400m (regional)</p>

<p>Other facts:
--I'm not a good writer so plz don't expect a brilliant essay. <em>sigh..</em></p>

<p>Recommendations:
--good. teachers ranked me as either either top 1% or 5% in all aspects CommonApp asks.</p>

<p>well, Columbia Fu is a tad easier to get into than Columbia College. still tough though, there are a ton of valedictorians there anyway…there is a slight bit of a pecking order among the students…my D is at CC, she doesn’t feel that way, but notices it…I don’t know if you would feel comfy in that situation…think about it…you were top dog at Stern vs the regular CAS, but Fu is a slightly poorer cousin to CC.</p>

but id say you would have good chances</p>
