I just wrote my personal essay for common app directed at Pomona only because that’s the only school I’m applying to. Did I just completely screw myself over…
I’m not stressing too much about it. I’m already at a really good LAC, but I like Pomona’s feel better. I’ll honestly be happy with whatever results come ahead. but did I screw myself over with this mistake LOL
in my completely unknowledgeable opinion, i feel like this makes ur essay stronger? Although I do feel like the main issue would be differentiating it from the ‘why pomona’ prompt which I’m sure you had no trouble doing.

I’m on a similar boat as you (currently at a good LAC and individualized my personal essay for Pomona.) I don’t think it’s a problem as long as you brought a new perspective with the supps. It also provides concrete objectives that the personal essay asks for, so I don’t see how being specific would hurt your chances
