Hi, I’m going to be a freshman this year at Rhodes college and am deeply regretting my decision because of the lack of academic support for my major amongst other things. It’s a wonderful school, but I just don’t think it’s the place for me… I came very close to going to Mount Holyoke, but ultimately chose Rhodes because they gave me a scholarship and Mount Holyoke is kind of in the middle of nowhere…

After a lot of research, I am deeply interested in Bryn Mawr and am hoping to try and transfer as soon as possible. So many things about the school appeal to me - diversity, location, academics, etc. My main question is - Does Bryn Mawr offer spring admission for freshman by chance? While I can certainly wait until next fall I would love to try and get in earlier if possible.

Also, does anyone have any advice or know anyone I can talk to about some transfer possibilities? Obviously, I’ve gone ahead and contacted the admissions office, but if there is anyone specific that would be great.

Ugh, I’m so mad I didn’t apply last year! My college counseling office at my school is so small and doesn’t tend to recommend schools out of the southeast region. So a lot of my searching was done on my own.
