<p>I'm not sure if I actually want to transfer to NYU but i think i might apply just to have the option since I'm really not happy with my current school. If anyone has any thoughts on whether or not I could get in, I'd appreciate it. </p>

10 ap classes
marching band all for years of high school, clarinet section leader senior year
set building, lighting design/running lights for all four school plays and all four school musicals
played in pitt orchestra for school musical senior year
jazz band senior year
national honor society, homework helper volunteering for 2 years with NHS
200+ volunteer hours from summer after 7th to summer after 11th grade at a hospital
job in 10th grade throughout the year, job in 11th grade/start of 12th grade
fairly good counselor/teacher recommendations</p>

I don't really do many activities here but if i'm not mistaken, high school would be more of the focus for transfer admission during spring semester of freshman year of college?
I'd apply to the college of arts and sciences probably as an Economics/French major for fall semester (2007) </p>
<p>Does anyone have any idea whether or not I might be accepted as a transfer? I'm not sure how transfer admission compares to regular, so i'd appreciate if anyone has any thoughts...
