<p>I posted this on the University of Texas at Austin section as well, to get more inputs, please any help would be GREATLY appreciated...</p>
<p>I've been picking out schools to transfer to (intended major is business/finance), and I recently started looking at the McCombs school of Business. However, I have a problem: I've started to take Business Calculus I, instead of just regular Calculus. I didn't take pre-calc, or trig either. Now on their website I come across they have this:</p>
<p>"UT Austin's former business/economics calculus sequence, M 403K/403L, was last offered in residence during the fall semester 2002. Students majoring in business or economics are now expected to select coursework from the 408C/408D or 408K/408L/408M sequences."</p>
<p>and this:</p>
<p>"For students majoring in Business, M 408K & 408L or equivalent transfer credit are required in all majors under the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree; Prospective business transfer students should take the first two (Differential & Integral) courses of a normal, non-business calculus sequence . Completion of at least one calculus course comparable to M 403K, 408C, or 408K is necessary for transfer admission consideration in UT's McCombs School of Business."</p>
<p>Am I pretty much screwed now ?. This is my sophomore year and I won't be able to take 2 semesters of regular calculus they ask (specially with the calculus pre-requisite). Has anybody heard of anything like this ? is there ANY chance they would transfer my calc. courses ? </p>
