OK guys, I know I have been posting a lot, but it is just because I feel these boards are one of the best resources available to me. The people here are so knowledgable and helpful. If you don't know my story, you can find it in any of my other threads. As of now, my top two choices for next year are Boston U and Northeastern. I am somewhat confused about how all the paperwork is supposed to be filled out. First of all, I have asked my business professor about writing a letter of rec, and he said he would gladly do it. I have been on the BU and NEU sites reading about their transfer apps and NEU wants TWO letters of rec. They also want them on official letterhead in sealed envelopes. I don't think that any of my other professors really have enough to go on to write a letter for me as they are mostly large lectures. I could possibly get one from my music teacher at Lehigh, but that has nothing to do with academics. BU does not seem as concerned about the recs as NEU. For my business professor, I want to make it easy for him since NEU seems to have so many rules about their recs. Should I try to track down some paper with official Lehigh letterhead on it and give it to him with envelopes? Also, should i tell him why I am leaving and where I plane to go?NEU and BU also want college course descriptions. Where would I get these? I am just very confused right now about getting from point A to point B. If anyone can simplify this process for me, that would be great. I know a personal college advisor/counselor in the area who could help me with this, but it is $100 an hour. At this point I think it might be worth it considering how confused I am. Thanks.

For the recommendations - you should address and stamp envelopes to give to them and also give them a paper with some additional information about you so they can write a more specific rec. The colleges probably also have specific recommendation forms with a part for the student to fill out and a part for the teacher. Your teacher probably has easy access to letterhead - shouldn't have to worry about that.

Maybe call up the registrar at your school to get course descriptions?

I've just gone through this process along with many people on this board so feel free to ask any questions here :).
