Transfer Profile for Out-of-State?

Hey everyone,

I am a sophomore at the University of Massachusetts with an anticipated GPA of 3.8 or so by the end of this semester (with 44 credits). I have a good range of EC's (Student Activities Council, Class Government Leader, Pride Alliance, Hillel Member, etc.). I am a resident of New Hampshire and I am applying for spring 2006 admission to W&M.

My question is in regards to the average transfer admission GPA from out-of-state; does anyone know the answer?

I read on the website that the average GPA from a transfer out of a traditional 4-year university was 3.5, but that's not specific in terms of out-of-staters, or hopefully, it is?

If anyone has been admitted to W&M as a transfer from out-of-state, or knows my answer, please reply; your answer will relieve me of my nervousness.

AS.

im pretty sure the admission rate hovers just below fifty percent, and i dont think in state/out of state plays any role in it because the college is not required by law to admit a certain number of instate transfers. thats about all i know though, good luck.
