Transfer Q's

I'm currently a freshman at Boston University. I applied Early Decision here with IU as my 2nd choice. I got into BU, but waitlisted at IU. I've been pretty unhappy here from the beginning and I've contemplated transferring to IU. I'm fairly sure I wouldnt get into IU by transferring right away. I'm likely going to transfer home, to Temple University. My intended major is Sports Management/Sports Marketing.

I guess my question really is what would I need to transfer into IU.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

Thanks!

You need good stats

That was incredibly vague. Thanks!

Anyone else? Also, SM and Sports Marketing arent in Kelley, correct?

Sports Marketing is part of the Kinesiology program.

I would think that if you were making normal progress towards a degree at Boston University and had at least a 2.5 to 2.6 GPA or so, that you could probably apply to Indiana University as a transfer (not into Kelley) with no problem. If you were planning to apply to the business school, you'd probably need a 3.0 GPA since that's what the school requires for admission.

Good luck.

I dont think I'll be looking at KSB since if I went to IU, I'd do Sports Marketing/SM in HPER. The problem is, I'm not sure I'm at 2.6. I may just do two years at Temple and transfer to IU after.

Alright, well I just got admitted for Spring, and my first semester GPA last year was not good, 2.5. But my second semester was a 3.3, and I'm on pace for around a 3.4 this semester. So, I guess if you show improvement, you can get in

So around a 3.0
