I am going to be a freshman at Harford community college this year on a full ride from the school, so I am going to attend Harford community college for a year and hopefully transfer into UMDCP after just one year. I plan to major in bioengineering. However, it says on the transfer requirements that transfer applicants must first complete the equivalent of BIOE120 but I looked all over the transfer credit website and didn't see anywhere in MD let alone at HCC that offered it's equivalent. I was hoping to find out what the deal is with that requirement, if there is any class at HCC i could take as the equivalent or if I am misunderstanding what it is asking. Here is the link if anyone needed it.

Montgomery College offers it during fall semesters. Else just take it at college park when you can (many bioe transfers take it post transfer due to most programs not offering an equivalent).

FYI…Maryland has a pre transfer advising program that really helped my son. You can have a personal meeting with an adviser or do a chat with one. He did the chat and got a lot of info on what classes, and APs would transfer and he asked additional questions. The info is on the UMD transfer page on the website.

Scratch that, I did end up finding it @rkboii but I can schedule a chat with an adviser even as a senior in college? Or will I need to wait until this fall, when I am a freshman at HCC? If anyone knows the answer to this please reply!! Thanks
