Transfer Question? What are my chances?

<p>I'm starting classes at a state college on Monday. I'm looking to see if I would be accepted to Brown if I got a 4.0 GPA (I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place).</p>

<p>High school stats:
My school didn't use the 4.0 system, but my average was 90 for all 4 years, UNweighted for the Honors and AP classes I took.
My SAT score was 2070, I don't remember what each individual section was but I do remember that one section was 720 if that helps at all.</p>

<p>Would I likely be accepted to transfer to Brown for my sophomore year if I got a 4.0 GPA at SUNY this year?</p>

<p>No. Don 't expect to get into any college as a sophomore that you could not have gotten into as a freshmen. For Brown it will not just be about a 4.0. They will want to see major contributions through ECs on campus. That will take 2 years.</p>
