<p>I had applied to CU as a senior in hs but I MASSIVELY messed up my application. I was extremely unfamiliar with Commonapp at the time and had accidentally submitted a half completed supplement. Of course I was rejected and now I'm attending Cornell but I'd still love to transfer to Columbia. Assuming I actually fill the application out correctly this time, do you think it's possible for me to transfer?</p>
<p>It is definitely possible. However, you need to have a legitimate reason which you’ll need to talk about in your admissions essay. Also, make sure you keep your GPA up and get to know your professors, who you’ll be requesting recommendations from.</p>
<p>Thanks! I know transfer acceptance is super low so I’m certainly not counting on it, but I have (and still do) believe it’s a better fit for me. In your opinion do you think transferring from another Ivy will help?</p>
