I'm currently a freshman Accounting major at Arizona State. I'm from California and in high school I had applied to a few of the UC's, but only got into UC Riverside and Merced. My ultimate goal has been to eventually transfer to UC Irvine or UCSB, but I'm now questioning how easily I will be able to transfer my credits from ASU. Since I got accepted to UC Riverside before, is there a way for me to still attend their school or will I have to undergo the application process again? What do you guys recommend I do? Thanks!

You have to apply again to UCR. It might be harder to transfer to these schools because there’s no articulation agreement with ASU, and California community college students get priority. Finish up your freshman year with good grades and apply next fall. An alternative would be to drop out of ASU, move back to California, and attend a community college. Then transfer from there. Do this if you are sure you don’t want to attend ASU anymore.
