<p>Hello! I am currently a freshman at NYU looking to transfer into Columbia. I am looking to transfer in as a major for Race and Ethnicity Studies. I have taken courses dealing with race, ethnicity, and foreign language and am really interested in possibly pursuing this as my major. </p>
<p>BUT... I am also someone who is very cautious in my decision-making. While I am heavily leaning towards this specific major, if I do get accepted, is it possible for me change my major as a transfer student?</p>
<p>I AM NOT trying to do this to get into the college in a easier manner(Columbia is difficult to get in for any major). I just don't want to be that student who after a while realizes that he has found his passion for something else but can't change his major.</p>
