<p>Is it easier to transfer to UofM from a higher ranked school than from say a community college? Right now I go to Duke and am thinking about transferring to Michigan. My GPA however is not so great (like a 3.0). Would I have a chance of getting in? (Also if it makes any difference, I got a 3.9 in high school and a 2250 sat).</p>
<p>I would say it’s about the same difficulty for a Duke student or a community college student. As long as you have a 3.5 gpa + and about 55 incoming credits, you have a really good shot at getting in. I think your high school stats does make a difference if you’re in your first year. Give it a shot, but make sure you have a good reason for transferring.</p>
<p>Out of curiosity, why are you thinking of leaving Duke for Michigan?</p>
