<p>First time poster. I took 15 credit hours last semester at my college and got a 4.0. I am currently applying for a transfer and I just bombed an exam in one of my classes. I am taking 17 credit hours, but dropping that class would bring me down to 13 hours. </p>
<p>I understand that Columbia would frown upon me taking 13 credit hours during a semester, but it is merely because I think I might get a B-/C in the class. What do you think I should do in this case? Take the risk that I might improve the grade to a B+, or drop the class outright?</p>
<p>I attend a well-known Public university (Public Ivy).</p>
