<p>On my transfer student evaluation form, it says "you must earn at least a 3.2 gpa the term prior to transfer" to be admitted to madison. Is this figure a cumulative grade, or does "the term prior to transfer" refer to 2nd semester grades only?</p>
<p>It refers to 2nd semester grades. They base that requirement on your cumulative gpa, I believe.</p>
<p>Sounds like a warning not to be a slacker- meaning you get admitted but need to do okay right up to admission semester.</p>
