I'm reapplying as a transfer for winter 2008. I applied for Fall 07 and wasn't accepted. Would they still have my test scores, transcripts, etc? And will they compare my old app to my new one?

Thanks.

anyone? i would really appreciate it..

Yeah they will have your test scores, but make sure to send in your latest transcript with your Fall 07 grades.

You need to call admssions and ask to speak with the counselor who handles transfers. they generally hold onto everything for two years, but the benefit of this call is that they tend to make a note of your early interest in transferring, and when making the final decisions, will view you as someone who is serious about transferring and not someone who merely decided to give it a shot at the last minute just for the heck of it. YOu also want to ask the transfer counselor if the courses you are currently taking will transfer over should you be accepted.

is it recommended for transfers to reapply only after one semester?

thanks. will do.

i'm wondering

is the transfer admission process rolling?

yeah they hold on to all the information, I'm in a bit of the same situation. I applied previously and was not accepted and I applied again to transfer for the winter semester. Funny thing is, my application for Michigan was completed two months ago and I have yet to hear back. However, my application for Wisconsin was completed 8 day ago and I have already been accepted.

that is weird..i also applied two months ago but heard back after about two weeks (accepted). have you given them a call? hopefully things work out for you.
