<p>Does anyone know the next opportunity timeframe where transfer applicants can apply to UC's or CSU's?</p>
<p>for UC’s the application for fall 2011 should be up around october 1st, and the deadline will most likely be november 30th. im not sure about the CSU’s, a few might still take spring transfers.</p>
<p>actually, you can apply this summer to go in for Winter '11 and some schools let you apply in the fall for Spring semester.</p>
<p>I have no resources to back this up but I’ve heard that many UC’s (including UCSD) are not accepting Winter 2011 admissions. I have no idea how valid this info is… so that leaves UC’s and CSU’s in the Fall 2011: can apply to UC’s beginning Nov. 1 and CSU’s Oct.1 …</p>
<p>I’m fairly certain that there are no UC’s that admit for spring quarter anymore. I really have no clue about UCR and UCM, but the other UC’s do not admit for anything other than fall qaurter/semester.</p>

You can first submit it on November 1st.
You must submit it by November 30.</p>
<p>You’ll start hearing back anytime between early March and late April depending on the UC. I don’t know anything about CSU’s though :/.</p>
<p>Most of the UC’s did not have Winter 2010 open for application last summer, so I doubt they will again this summer. You’ll most likely have to wait until this fall to apply for Fall 2011.</p>
<p>Most UCs don’t admit for winter quarter/spring semester, but some do. However, you usually have to wait to find out which ones do- most aren’t consistent. I’m pretty sure Merced, Riverside and Santa Cruz did last year.</p>

Is october 1st the date in which the essay prompts are released or do they release even earlier? I want to finish them over the summer if that is possible.</p>
<p>Also, does each UC have their own essay prompt or is there just 1 and you send that one essay response to each UC?</p>

<p>why dont you go to school websites and find out? the way we would tell you this info is by going to the respected website and searching for you… if you are going to get into a uc you need to be motivated. so go, young one… be motivated</p>
