Transfer Questions and Chances

I was wondering if there is an available resource that details the average statistics of transfer students to GWU?

I am currently a freshman at Ohio University and plan to have around a 3.6-3.8 GPA with 30+ credit hours when I turn in my application, I will also be visiting the campus in December. Unfortunately, I will not have my ACT scores until later this week.

I plan on getting two good letters of recommendation and writing a killer essay(s). There are too many ECs to list, but they include aiding an author in his research with a successfully published and nationally distributed novel (I am cited in acknowledgments) and being the youngest person in a respective company’s history to receive a managerial position, all while being the sole caretaker of my Father who suffered from MS.

What do you guys think my chances are? I plan on transferring in the fall of my sophomore year to the CCAS.

Thanks in advance for any help/insight!

I think your chances are very good. A GPA of at least 3.5 with strong ECs makes a candidate competitive.

Great, thank for the response! Are there any other thoughts from other board members?

You have very good chances, and I hope you get in!
