i got a low GPA 2.57 and 35 credit hours but i wanted to transfer a university at spring 2009, is it possible to get into UIUC with 2.57 . if not which school in chicago it's easy to get into ! thanks i hope get some ideas from you !

Provide more info. UIUC will be a reach with a 2.57; what’s your major?

i wouldnt expect to get in anywhere with a 2.57

UI-Chicago requires at least a 2.5 GPA for transfer so that will be a reach as well. Many students in your shoes end up at the closest low-tier state school, a less-selective private (like East-West or Robert Morris) or open-enrollment Governors State.

Take stock in what you want to study, where/what you want to experience, if you can finish your bachelors, if it’s worth it over a technical degree, etc.

Also seek out if your state offers programs (or state higher ed dept. regulations) that would guarantee you admission into a particular state school (though likely not UI, UIC or ISU).

you really need to see an advisor
