Transfer Questions: Please help Cornell Students

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to know what you all think my chances are to be accepted for a spring transfer 2011 (I know it's far away, just curious) to CALS for an AEM major. I have quite a unique situation in regards to the average applicant. Upon submitting my application I will have a 3.7-3.9 cumulative GPA with just about 60 credits towards a Business Admin AA from UMUC (University of Maryland University College). It's accredited under the University of Maryland umbrella, and is probably equal to a local CC. I had a pretty good HS GPA of about 3.5. No SAT ever taken and I am not going to (more harm than good).

Anyway, I am finishing up a 5 year tour in the US Navy and am currently stationed overseas. Before the Navy I lived in Southeast Asia, primarily Thailand and worked as a SCUBA Divemaster teaching people how to scuba dive. Other EC's include hundreds of hours of volunteer work through military programs (helping kids, environmental cleanups, participation in local schools, etc). I am also enrolled in an Asian School learning Mandarin Chinese. I have quite alot of cultural experiences through the military and my personal life. I will also have letters of rec's from professors and other military members.

I know I can write a very detailed essay of my leadership positions through the years, how I have matured, my possible role at Cornell, and how important Cornell is to me along with its history, diversity, and programs.

What are my chances? I know I am different from the average applicant and I hope that helps me a bit. I would love a chance to finish my undergaduate in such a beautiful school. Let me know what you all think, thanks very much.
