Transfer questions

<p>Background:<br>
I am currently enrolled at a community college and about to finish my second year. My first year I had no motivation which resulted a relatively low GPA, therefore I have to stay another year which would make it a third year... :( By the end of Summer of 2011, I will have a total of 60 transferable semester units. Fall of 2011 is when I will apply to UCI, UCD, UCSB, UCR and UCM.</p>

<p>Question(s):
1. Since I am applying in Fall of 2011, I will have to take classes for 2 full semesters which will will increase the number of units...will this disqualify me from admission to the Universities?
2. Would this make me a junior-level applicant or senior-level applicant?
3. Will I be able to qualify for TAG?</p>

<p>Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>1) No.
2) Depends. You’re not junior unless you’re completed your GEs. You might even still be a sophomore. And you definitely won’t be a senior since CCs don’t offer upper division classes.
3) Depends. To qualify for TAG, you have to finish IGETC with a B average. If you are done with IGETC and have a 3.0 average, then yes. (3.2 for UCSB).</p>

<p>You’d be better off posting this in the UC transfer forum.</p>
