OK, so here's the deal:

I'm transferring to UofM AA for the upcoming fall from SVSU. I didn't take any secondary-language courses there and when I received my acceptance letter from UofM, attached to it was another letter stating their concern about me not taking any language courses.

I know that UofM's LS&A requires 4th semester proficiency in a secondary language, I'm just wondering if those have to be completed within freshman and sophomore year. Basically, I just want to make sure that they wont kick me out if I have to start my languages as a Junior.

I've been trying my best to study so I might be able to place out of a semester or two when I take my placement test at orientation, but, I've heard from some friends that it's in a pretty odd format.

Any input would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. Cheers.
