Transfer questions

This is to anyone who transferred out of the college to another school like engineering, Wharton, etc.

What school did you transfer into and what GPA did you have at the time of transfer? I was told that, for instance, the GPA cutoff for Wharton last year was “well over a 3.6” but does that mean if I get something like a 3.8, transfer is much more likely? Definite? What are the true “cutoffs”?

They can't give you true cutoff numbers or tell you whether acceptance is likely or definite because it changes every semester.

So maybe one semester a 3.5 would have been good enough but the next semester it's a 3.62 and then a 3.71 and then a 3.85 and then a 3.5 again.

All you can do is submit your application and wait.
