Am I allowed to transfer to the main campus after a year of Penn State York?

Bumppppppppppppp

No.

“A minimum 2.5 GPA is required for transfer admission to University Park.
Applicants interested in transferring to University Park must have completed two years (4 semesters) of full-time college coursework at another institution and/or another Penn State campus by the time of transfer to be eligible for admission.”

There are only certain majors that you can transfer from branch campus to University Park after 1 year. Most require 2 years transfer. The only ones I know that are 1 year transfers are astronomy(astrophysics) and Architectural Engineering.

No idea? I’d say that’s a pretty good idea beings that covers 95% of people trying to transfer. Especially coming from the PSU website. Sorry I don’t know every nook and cranny of admissions but generally speaking no you can’t transfer after one year. Chances are you know if you can after one year anyway if you’re in one of those programs.

Yes, but you posted the website for general transfers. 2+2 program is separate program and most majors other than engineering and business, a minimum is 2.0 gpa coming in from branch campus. Sorry I dont want to be sound rude but I work for admissions office so I know most of these things!
