Transfer Questions

For starters, let me ask the first questions any transfers may have - regarding the transfer of credits, I am taking Statistics 200 at U of Chicago but I was wondering if it would transfer over to U of M for any math requirements instead of Calc. At U of C, Stat takes the place of Calc for anyone not majoring in math. I hate math and I'm not majoring in math or science whatsoever, in fact I'd be a transfer to U of M for the film major!

Also, does U of M have a set number of required credit hours or classes per quarter to be considered at all for transfer admission? I know Northwestern requires 36 credit hours to be considered - well, like I said, I am at U of Chicago and they recommend three classes instead of four for the first quarter to help allow students to adjust to the college life, and especially the U of C style of college. Plus, I do have to get a job and there are activities and such that it's kind of a good idea. Then winter and spring quarters I will have four classes per quarter. So I was just wondering if that's okay and I'll still be up for admission, or will I not be considered?

I am wondering about the second question also.
I am currently a freshman so I only have AP and credits from OCC.
I wonder if that's going to be enough.
