transfer questions!

hey all, i have some questions regarding transferring to penn (and others):

which school at penn has the higher # of applications, wharton or the cas? which is “easier” to get into numbers wise?

i’m currently a physics major. i have the intention of going to med school, and then getting an MBA. is an undergraduate business major necessary in my situation? if so, should i apply/matriculate to the highest ranked business schools? i know that name-branding is important for careers in business, so i’m a little curious and concerned about this application process.

i want to apply to penn, cornell cas, u chicago, wash u, cmu, and northwestern. as for public schools, i am considering michigan, illinois, and rutgers. i’ve done some research on transfer rates to these schools, and given my stats (3.85 college gpa, 3.62 hs gpa, 2270 sat, 750 + 760 satII, good recs and ecs coming from a state school), i’m a little nervous about applying to penn, cornell, and chicago. is it advisable for me to apply to these schools or am i just donating money to them?

finally, say i do choose to apply to penn…which school would i apply to? wharton, given my business intentions, or cas, given my desire to pursue a physics major (then med school). can i somehow apply to both schools?

sorry for the long post, i’m just trying to prepare myself for the app. process. good luck to everyone and thanks in advance for the advice!

any advice?
