Transfer Questions

I am currently a freshman Electrical Engineering major at UC Davis and I was thinking of trying to apply for transfer to UCSD. I have a few questions...

If anyone has transferred in with a similar situation, can you please give me some information about your application. Such as your GPA, Major, Interns, etc.

What GPA would be considered to be competitive for transfer admission?

Do extracurriculars matter?

Which colleges are best for engineering in UCSD?

Hows the UCSD EE program?

Any other useful information would be nice.

Thanks!

Warren is the college that attracts the most engineering majors, since our GE's are more flexible (specific to engineering majors, in fact).

According to UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering, SD's electrical engineering ranks 17th in the nation.

bumpbumpbump

UCR to UCSD. All I will say is getting in depends on the popularity of your major. If it's impacted, they will look at the competitiveness of your courses, gpa, extracurricular, ect. If not, then you're pretty much in if you've met the requirements.
