Originally I was only planning to apply to a school with a transfer deadline of April 1st, so I wasn't worried about having enough time. However now I want to apply to a school with a deadline of March 1st- is it too late to ask for a recommendation from my professor?

As a (former) prof, I think three weeks is enough time - especially if the professor knows you pretty well. Make it EASY for her and give her a little dossier reminding her of all the wonderful work you did, etc. And when you ask, just show that you are respectful of her time.

I’m giving mine to a Professor and a TA 2 weeks from my deadline. I’ve only had them for this semester so I need to give them time to get to know me.

Thanks for the replies, it is good to know that I am not being terribly rude by waiting this long to give a rec form.
