I was wondering if anyone knew the date regent's invites are sent out for transfer applicants?

From the UCAP website:
Freshman Applicants: Invited to compete in early February. Final awards made in mid-March.
Transfer Applicants: Invited to compete in mid-March. Final awards made in early April.

I saw that the freshmen applicants received their invites early, in late Jan. --I'm not sure if this follows a yearly trend or if it applies to the admissions process in general; if anyone could shed some light, again, on the date the transfer invites are sent out, it would be much appreciated.

I got mine today in the mail. It was dated Feb. 28. The deadline is March 31.

Does this mean that I got in to UCLA as a transfer or…?

Yea, I got mine on Saturday.

And yes, it does mean you are accepted.

Are you sure that we are accepted???

I applied to UCLA as a sociology major because I was one calculus class from being eligible for the business econ. major and had all the prereqs for sociology. In my application, I wrote about majoring in business. I pretty much assumed that UCLA was out since I didn’t write anything about wanting to be a sociology major. However, I do have a 4.0 GPA but I don’t know how far that will carry me. That’s why I’m not so sure that I have guaranteed admissions to UCLA despite receiving an offer to apply for the regents scholarship.

Yes, do a simple forum search; if you get a Regents invite you are accepted.
