Transfer rejection

Just curious, if you are not accepted to any colleges you apply to for transferring, you stay at the college you currently attend, correct?

Also, how would the relationship change once the current college knows you wanted to transfer?

Thanks for your insights!

Yes, you stay for the rest of your undergraduate education at your current institution if you’re unsuccessful at transferring.

To put it bluntly, your current institution doesn’t really care. The college official that you’ll come in contact with the most is your academic adviser, and he/she simply wants what’s best for you. They’ll support any decision you deem best for your education, as long as it’s realistic.

The relationship between you, the student, and your current college will not change.
