Transfer Requirement

I'm a international student, I'm not really understand the transfer program in US.

I'm a CC student right now. I would like to know what the most important requirements of transfering to a University are.

Please.

Finish up as many of the distribution requirements for the intended college(s) and basic requirements for your intended major as you can at your cc.
Get a really, really good GPA.
Find some ECs that correlate to your interests and gain leadership positions in them.
Establish good relationships with 2 professors to get strong recommendation letters from them.

My CC is in Penn State, is it possible to tranfer to other states, like NY, NJ, DC, etc.

your community college is in state college? or the state of pa?
there is no reason why you cannot transfer to oos schools; but, it is harder to get in as an oos applicant in public and state schools

You can apply for transfer to almost any four year college or university in the USA, but you need to investigate each college/university that you are interested in and find out what their exact requirements are for transfer applicants.

A good place for you to start is by making an appointment with the Transfer Advisor at your community college. This person can tell you which colleges/universities your college has formal transfer agreements with, and which other colleges/universities your college normally sends students to. The Transfer Advisor’s whole job is to get you into college/university somewhere after you finish your first two years at your community college.

It is not a state college.
