I just recently finished high school this past year and will be attending Santa Monica College this fall. Right now, I am trying to do all the research I can about the different universities I would like to try and transfer to so I can make good decisions. Researching the course requirements, admissions statistics, and such for the UC's was not that bad. Looking for the same bits of information for private universities, like the Ivy Leagues, seems to be a lot harder. Is there any site that provides the requirements and statistics I am looking for? Maybe any tips on how I can better find what I want? If If it helps, I am planning to be a Computer Science Major.

The College Board’s College Search function gives transfer rates for many schools:

This information can also be found in the Common Data Set for colleges (google CDS and the name of the school).

Other than that, the college websites are the best place for information. While usually many of the selective privates don’t have transfer requirements like publics, CS may be different, so be sure to check the specifics for that major.
